Fast on the heels of service pack 493, revision 494 of SoftMaker Office 2008 for Pocket PCs is now available as a free download.
This quick replacement was necessary because we found a quite serious bug in PlanMaker that was introduced with revision 493: during editing, memory was allocated but never freed. After some working with a worksheet, all memory would be used up and your computer would become quite slow.
Revision 494 also has some additional enhancements, the most important of which is that it is now possible to enter Japanese characters without them being doubled (this requires a Japanese Pocket PC).
